About us
A shop for the records that stayed good
Demo Shop started in 2011 as a market stall with two crates of jazz records. It is now a shop with more than two hundred titles, and the plan did not change: we sell the records that we play at home.
We look for pressings that sound the way the studio meant them to sound. A record that we cannot listen to does not go in the shop, and a record that we cannot describe honestly does not go online.
How we grade a record
Each record gets a grade for the disc and a grade for the sleeve. We play the disc before we grade it. A mark that you can hear is in the description, also when it is small.
Do you think a record is not what we said it is? Send it back. We pay the return postage in that case.
